Our Mission

  • Our mission is to provide life-long care for the cows , and to educate the public about humane animal care and practices. We will find appropriate homes for them. In an effort to prevent further cruelty to these animals, we educate the public on caring for companion animals as well as on issues concerning farm animals.
  • Promote interaction between human beings and animals, to enable a loving and everlasting bond.
  • Advocate  moral, environmental, social and health challenges facing our planet.
  • Be a gathering center where like minded people share energy, ideas and love for all beings who share this planet.

Our History

In 2021, Our Cows Sanctuary was established by longtime animal protection advocates, Joe Bento and Veer Desikan. Our Cows Sanctuary incorporated as a nonprofit and our 501(c)3 tax-exempt status was confirmed by the IRS. Our Cows Sanctuary is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit and donations are tax-deductible. Our Federal Tax ID No. is.87-2146424
